Rewind.

Logline: Only 32, Marcus Day is already a bitter loser, always beaten to the post. Dumped by his girlfriend, humiliated by his friends‘ success and sacked from his job writing bad scripts for his father’s bankrupt video production company, he feels he can’t go on. But Marcus is about to go on a journey both internal and external when a gold Betamax tape rewinds him back to 1982. Marcus finds himself trapped in his young father’s body and sees a chance to set things right. Avoiding the advances of his amorous mother and whinging seven year old self, Marcus uses his father’s video company to shoot pilots for hit television shows of the 80’s and ‘90s, before they happened. But with such a small budget, the likes of Knight Rider, Miami Vice and Sex in the City have never looked so cheap. Once a loser always a loser?
Rewind is a six episode light-hearted drama for television, about second chances and Betamax tape.
